Sales Questions

We do try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible for the benefit of our customers. In comparison, the actual prices we charge for seeds are similar to prices found at a Garden Center such as Wal-Mart or Home-Depot.  Actually, quite a lot of our products are even cheaper!  Especially the larger quantity sizes (25 lb.+) that are needed to plant a new average lawn.

Our prices are also set under our FAIR PRICE POLICY:   We feel a fair price is one in which we make a fair profit. There are many factors that go into our pricing. But we do feel that the Internet is a new type and way of doing business where all of our customers should benefit from the lower cost of transactions via the Internet.

Our shipping prices are competitive!  Always consider shipping when calculating prices.  Many of our competitors will price a little cheaper but more than make it up with high shipping costs.  Check out examples of our shipping costs.

NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel any orders for products in which either the items are no longer available or discontinued.  On items in which the pricing was listed incorrectly online due to an error in pricing, we will contact you with the corrected price.  You may elect to complete any order you placed at our cost, however pricing errors will NOT be honored at the "error" price.

Volume DISCOUNTS ????
We offer discounts on quantity purchases for many seed products, because we do want all our customers to save $$$ based on purchases of large quantities and work toward giving each customer a good value for their money.  We feel this is a very reasonable policy.

All orders require payment by Credit Card, Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order. Orders over $1000 may require verbal phone confirmation that you are the person who placed the order. Please include your phone number with order.  Personal or company check orders will be shipped after a 10-day hold policy to assure clearance of your check - See below: - We ship COD on orders up to $1500 only with payment by Cashiers check or Money Order (subject to phone confirmation). -- Orders paid with Cashiers check or money orders are promptly shipped. - For orders over $1500 read our policy .

Company or Personal check orders will be shipped after a 10-day hold policy to assure clearance of your check. . This time period starts from receipt date of your check. All other orders are shipped under our 48 hours policy, unless you are otherwise notified. Commercial customers also fall under this payment policy. This is because we have elected to provide the lowest possible prices, and thus cannot assume the risks involved with credit accounts. We regret any inconvenience this policy may cause.

All orders require payment by Credit Card, Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order. Orders may require verbal confirmation that you are the person who placed the order. We will ship COD up to a maximum of $1000. COD Charges are added to your order total.  COD Charges are only available for items shipped UPS.  We do NOT offer COD on items shipped LTL freight line.

NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel any orders for products or seeds in which either the items are no longer available or discontinued.  On items in which the pricing was listed incorrectly online due to an error in pricing correctly, we will contact you with the corrected price.  For our retail customers we will offer you the wholesale price for that particular item, however pricing errors will NOT be honored at the incorrect "error" price.  Sales are not completed & accepted until payment is received or processed. 

For added security, we do NOT process credit card orders live online.  Your order is first reviewed by a sales specialist for any changes, questions or corrections. After review your order is then processed securely and items are scheduled for shipment.

All orders are shipped FOB Wellborn, FL USA, unless otherwise specified. We ship UPS and Freight Line. UPS (United Parcel Service) is our preferred shipper. We cannot be held responsible for products damaged during shipment via freight line trucking. Most orders are shipped within 48-72 hours (weekdays) or sooner, unless you are notified of a delay or backorder. No credit card charges are made to your account until within 24 hours of when your merchandise will actually shipped.  Most orders are processed and shipped next working day.

COD:  We will only ship COD orders up to $1500.   All charges for COD orders will be added on to total shipment costs.  Payments on COD orders must be by Cashiers check or Money Order.  COD orders MUST be confirmed by phone.

EXPORTS & OVERSEAS ACCOUNTS:

At this time we do not ship seeds UPS or US-Mail to overseas customers. We do provide seed brokerage services and quote prices for seeds shipped (EXPORTED) to qualified commercial overseas companies in quantities of 1000 kgs. (2200 lbs+.) or more. Visit www.seedexports.com for more information.

SALES TAX IS NOT CHARGED 
ON INTERNET SALES OUTSIDE 
OF FLORIDA (Effective 8/2001)

All orders shipped and/or billed to a Florida address must pay 7% Florida sales.   If you have a current sales tax number and wish to exclude your purchase from sales tax, you may fax Seedland.com a copy of your Florida Certificate of Registration exemption form.   Orders shipped to all other states are exempt under current Federal and State policy as relates to Internet sales.
