Plugs cost $69.50 PER ORDER of 32 Plugs + Shipping Shipping charges are $27 for the first order & $14 each additional order. OUR Plugs ship via FEDEX GROUND. Orders must be placed by 1 PM EST on THURSDAY in order to ship the following week. Each order has 32 @ 3" by 3" Grass Plugs per plug order. About The Grass Plug Varieties We Sell Bermuda Grass - Centipede Grass - St. Augustine Grass - Zoysia Grass The grass plugs we sell are primarily adapted to areas of the Southern USA states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Some species or varieties may not be suitable for use in states with colder winter climates. We only ship to North-Eastern states other than those listed above. Use our grass plug guide to help determine which grass plug varieties are best adapted for your area. Another good source of information will be your local cooperative extension agent. The only plug grass species we sell that is suitable for planting in colder locations is Zoysia. Establishing time for plugged lawns will depend on the time of year when your plugs are planted along with the variety, climate, spacing, soil type and care. Generally it can take anywhere from one to three years to fully establish a lawn from plugs. Seedland also has seeds available for Bermuda, Centipede and Zoysia, however at this time it is not possible to grow seeds for St. Augustine grasses. All orders ship as 2 trays per each order. As seen in the picture to the left here, each 3" X 3" grass plug is in it's individual section of the larger tray. Our grass plugs are still growing in soil when you receive your order. Please read the following shipping notice before you place your grass plug order. Important - Shipping Restrictions: Due to state agricultural regulations on soils, we can not ship our Grass Plugs to the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas Oregon, New Mexico, Nevada & Washington. Due to shipping time constraints we do not ship any plugs outside USA mainland States. There are several other western US states we do NOT ship to (call for specific states or see list above of states we ship to) (No shipments to: Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, US Islands). There are no restrictions on seeds shipped to these states. Shipment Dates: Our grass plugs ship seasonally* every Monday or Tuesday via FEDEX Ground for all orders placed the previous week. Orders must be placed by 1 PM EST on THURSDAY in order to ship the following week. Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to weather issues (heavy rains result in plugs too wet to ship). Since we ship orders ASAP once they are placed, please order only if you are ready to plant. *Note: Grass Plugs ship only during the spring months of February, March, April, and May.
