Princess - 77 Bermuda Grass Seed
Certified Princess brand Bermudagrass includes the world's first dense, fine textured seeded hybrid Bermudagrass variety. This grass is suitable for planting on golf fairways, sports applications and high quality manicured lawns.
Princess is a first for seeded Bermudas. Comparable to hybrid Tif 419 in overall quality in NETP trials.
LIMITED SUPPLIES OF PRINCESS BERMUDA ARE AVAILABLE NOW!
NEW LOWER PRICE! - Now available in 5# sizes! Because this new grass variety is a break through variety with easily recognizable improvements. Everyone wants this one, especially the professional turf growers such as sod farms and golf courses. It is also more difficult to produce seeds because its traits are so much similar to the hybrid varieties that produce no viable seed. Compared to the cost of sodding a similar grass (Such as 419 Bermuda) these prices are very reasonable.

New Seeding Method 1
Prepare your lawn for seeding by tilling then smoothing and raking the lawn to the point of having a smooth firm seedbed. Plant 5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet. The seed and mulch are blended
to give the correct seeding rate for each of the two components. Lightly rake the seedbed to cover the seed and mulch no deeper than 1/8” deep. Mulch the seeded area lightly with wheat
straw or pine straw. Water daily for 14 days keeping the seedbed moist at all times. The Bermuda plants will emerge, and over a period of one growing season should form a sod. On poor
soils or in unfavorable growing conditions, it may take two growing seasons to completely form a sod.
New Seeding Method 2
Spray the present grass on the lawn with a non-selective herbicide labeled for lawn use. Wait approximately 7 days to make certain all grass is killed. On spots not completely dead,
re-spray with herbicide. Wait approximately 7 days after the final spraying and plant Pennington’s Princess 77 Bermudagrass Seed & Mulch mixture at the rate of 5 lbs. per 1,000 square
feet, making certain the seed and mulch are spread evenly across the area. Aerate the area thoroughly using a checkerboard type pattern. Using a standard lawn mower, mow the dead grass
close to the ground allowing the clippings to remain on the ground as a mulch covering the seed. Water daily for 14 days keeping the seedbed moist at all times.
Care & Maintenance
Fertilize in fall and early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Use lime when pH is low. Water twice weekly when established.
