Pennington Perennial Ryegrass Seed Blend grows well in full sun or light shade in northern areas and is 99.9% weed free. If planted in the south, perennial ryegrass performs as an annual as it will completely die in the hot summer months. The grass seeds in this rye grass blend are Penkoted to promote healthy plants by protecting the seeds from fungus while germinating and thus improving the ability to grow a healthy plant and thus a thick, lush lawn.

Planting Perennial Rye Grass Seed Blend
The best time to plant Pennington Perennial Rye Grass Seed is in the early spring (for northern lawns) or early fall. Grass seed germinates best when daily temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F.
