Recommended Usage For Princess Bermuda Blend
Golf course fairways and tees - manicured home lawns - well maintained sports turf and parks. Princess is the closest to "green quality" bermuda in a SEEDED variety available. It is NOT as high quality as most hybrids used on professional golf courses, but is similar in quality to Tif-419. Comparisons of Princess with hybrid & seeded varieties can be found at www.ntep.org - We do NOT recommend Princess for green use except where the speed & level of play is not critical to equaling professional standards.
USE OF SEEDED VARIETIES FOR GREENS -
Seeded varieties are generally NOT recommended for high quality greens - they are fairway quality grasses. Princess can be used for a home putting green, however frequent mowing is required (usually 5-7 days week). Please note that ball speed and play will not be the same as found on greens established with hybrid green types of Bermudagrass.
This grass is suitable for planting on golf fairways, sports applications and high quality manicured lawns. Princess 77 is a first for seeded Bermudas and is similar in quality to 419 Bermuda.

Water: Soil moisture around the seed must be maintained for about 1-2 weeks. Days to Germinate: Under ideal conditions, germination may begin within 7 days. Allow 4-18 days for completion. Plant when soil temperatures are consistently above 65 degrees and all danger of freeze / frost is past. Plant from spring to late summer for best results.
Establishment Time: Under ideal conditions, full coverage may be attained between 4-6 weeks. If planting is occurring late or early in the season, allow longer for establishment.
