IMPORTANT NOTE - Groundcover Plants must be ordered online - No phone sales.
Groundcover Plants - Shipment Dates:
Our plants ship every Monday for all orders placed the previous week by 5:00 PM EST on Thursday.
Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to weather issues (heavy rain results in plants too wet to ship). Since we ship groundcover orders ASAP after they are placed, please order only if you are ready to plant in your location - we do NOT hold orders for shipment based on weather and location. Shipment of plants is via UPS Ground shipping only. We do not offer postal or expedited shipping methods on plants.
Orders placed after the 5:00 PM Thursday afternoon deadline will ship a week later (2nd Monday after order deadline). - For recommendations on what to plant, contact your local cooperative extension agent or view our

Daylilies
Botanical Name: Hemerocallis
Used in Zones: 3 - 10 |
A popular addition to many landscapes, these lily-look-alikes provide a range of bloom times and colors, making it possible to have full-season color from a single species of plant. From evergreen to perennial, according to variety, flowers range tin color from pale yellow to dark golden hues to mauves and pinks. Basal, blade-like foliage arches gracefully. Useful for erosion control, as specimen plants or background plantings, these reliable favorites are drought resistant and tolerate a wide range of soil conditions. Varieties are listed below by color and with individual plant information including the following: bloom color, bloom characteristics, height, bloom time and winter habit in zone.
Seedland.com offers an extensive collection of Daylilies. Click on the general variety name of each type for more information.

Selection Guide
We ship top quality Groundcover plants at affordable prices that will enhance and beautify most landscapes.
Due to agricultural restrictions and shipment times, we do NOT ship to these states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, N. and S. Dakota, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, or the U.S. Islands. Note that we also do not ship during the months of Mid July through Mid September due to summer heat issues that may damage plants during transit.
HELP WITH SELECTING GROUND COVERS:
Although we do NOT offer advice on which groundcover plants are compatible in your area, we do have a
recommendations chart to help you make that decision. This chart is comprehensive and is to be used as a guideline to help you choose the best plant based on location, soil conditions, and plant characteristics. For advice and selection of groundcover plants for your area - Contact your local
cooperative extension agent. Seedland does not make specific recommendations on the use of ground cover plants.
Upon delivery, IMMEDIATELY remove plants from boxes and then water them. Temporarily place outdoors or in a greenhouse. You need to plant as soon as possible, ideally when the proper growing conditions for the species has arrived. Consult with your local extension for planting time recommendations.
Plant bare root plants IMMEDIATELY. Plants in trays may be planted later, but must receive daily care, i.e. water and sunlight. View
groundcovers.com for more planting information and maintenance procedures. |
Note: We sell plants ONLY in boxed quantities listed online. We do not sell individual plants. |
