SR 9554 Bermuda Grass Seed
SR 9554 Turf-Type Bermudagrass seed is a multi-purpose Bermudagrass variety suitable for use on golf course tees, fairways and roughs, municipal parks, lawns, sports fields, cemeteries and roadsides wherever Bermudagrass is adapted worldwide.
SR 9554 bermuda grass is also noteworthy due to it's long stolon length which provides rapid cover and fill in on newly seeded sites. The noticeably shorter inter node length makes this bermuda grass have a higher density, and thus a higher quality turf than most "common" bermudagrass species and commercial seeded varieties.
SR 9554 Turf-Type Seeded Bermudagrass has proven to be a perfect choice for many a turf grass project, including golf tees, fairways and roughs, sports fields, parks and home lawns.

SR 9554 Bermuda Grass Facts
SR 9554 bermuda grass seed is ideally suited as a straight variety, or as a seed component in a certified bermuda grass seed blend, such as LaPrima. It can be seeded into new turf grass projects, or inter-seeded into existing seeded or vegetative bermuda to improve the overall quality of a turf grass site. SR 9554 is an economical alternative to vegetative bermuda.
SR 9554 turf-type bermudagrass seed is an advanced turf-type seeded bermudagrass selected for its unique genetics combined with a dwarf, low growing plant height. This bermuda grass seed can trace it's origins back to six clones originally collected from Germany and the Pacific Northwest of the United States, plus a selection from Cheyenne bermuda grass. Offspring cultivars from these clones were further crossed over and cultivated for several years. SR 9554 is the bermuda grass cultivar chosen for it's uniformity, dark green color, high turf quality, finer texture and lower plant height, stress and disease resistance. The last step in the SR 9554 bermuda grass selection was further screening to ensure high seed yield and improved stress and disease resistance in seed production.
