Citation IV Perennial Ryegrass
Tested as PST-2BR, 'Citation Fore' features a bunch-type growth habit with fine leaf blade, very low upright growth, uniform density, and dark green color.
Performing well in a wide range of soil types, pH range of 5.5 to 8.0, 'Citation Fore' exhibits a very high in endophyte content for improved insect and summer stress tolerance.
With excellent overall disease resistance, including good resistance to gray leaf spot, 'Citation Fore' is outstanding selection for those areas where gray leaf spot pressure causes significant damage to perennia ryegrass turf.
Performing best in full sun to light shade and exhibiting excellent traffic tolerance, 'CItation Fore' performs exceptionally well in both permanent turf and fall overseeding sitatuations.

Uses:
- Excellent for all perennial ryegrass turf uses including home, commercial, sports turf, golf applications, and sod production. Also performs exceptionally well in southern markets for the fall overseeding of bermuda.
Establishment:
- For permanent residential / commercial turf, 7–10 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. Apply with a quality seed starter fertilizer. Early fall and spring seeding best.
- Late spring / summer plantings not recommended in most locations.
- For the fall overseeding of dormant turf, home / commercial / sports turf, 10-15 lb. per 1000 sq. ft.
- With optimal soil temperatures, 60-80 degrees F, germinates in 8-12 days. Seedbed should be kept moist during germination and establishment, approximately 3 weeks.
- Full coverage expected in 6-8 weeks with light use in 8-10 weeks.
- First mowing recommended when turf reaches approximately 2".
Maintenance:
- For best performance, fertilize at annual rate of 4–5 lbs. N per 1000 sq. ft.
- Deep, infrequent irrigation best during cooler months. In the absence of rainfall, light, more frequent irrigations are recommended during the summer months.
- Recommended mowing height: 0.5" - 2.5"
